Many businesses closed up shop during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. But under the new recommended social distancing measures, some businesses, including shopping malls n the famous Vegas Strip, are now reopening.
Most of the Strip resorts are now fully operational, including the spectacular Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino. Most of the joint’s most sought-after amenities and attractions have been open since June 9.
While most business entities closed shop, the Miracle Mile Shops, the giant indoor mall flaunting about 200 shops, bars, restaurants, and entertainment spots inside Planet Hollywood, kept its doors open. The casino resort closed, but its parking garage has been operational since June offering additional access to the shopping mall. Other entrances to the establishment are on Las Vegas Boulevard, neighboring the Cabo Wabo, and PRB Rock Bar & Grill restaurants.
According to Wendy Albert, Miracle Mile’s senior marketing director, they reopened with a focus to offer a touchless yet safe and clean experience. Wendy establishes that about 90% of their businesses are open while the rest, including their two theatres, are awaiting the governor's approval to resume.
The establishment's two theatres, V Theatre and Saxe Theatre, run by David Saxe Productions, are expected to reopen soon. The big announcement that shows will be allowed to resume with limited capacity audiences clears the way for fans-favorite shows such as “Vegas! The Show,” “Zombie Burlesque” and “V-The Ultimate Variety Show” to return.
According to Wendy, while most other malls focus on luxury, their mall presents affordable, approachable, and fun brands and stores. Even better, the spot is centrally located at the Strip, making it very accessible. The neighboring Elara Hilton Grand Vacation hotel also contributes to the numbers since resumption on June 18.
One of the mall’s new additions, The Raider Image store, also contributed significantly to the traffic. This official store of the Raiders came along with appealing offers. Customers who spent $ 200 at the store before the Raider's debut at the Allegiant Stadium on Sept 21 walked away with exclusive team merchandise. Among the fantastic gifts that came with the purchases is the Raider's signature hat that is not up for sale in any store.
The Miracle Mile Shops is also offering curbside pickup if you do not want to physically shop at the mall. Moreover, there is a digital coupon book and operational store, and restaurant directory on its app. The establishment is open daily between 11 am, and 7 pm but some restaurants are open later.
