Las Vegas is home to a plethora of strange sights that would be absolutely bizarre anywhere else in the world. In Sin City, however, these are the norm! Naturally, this extends to some of the most popular restaurants in the city, many of which are uniquely themed or decorated to capture a particular vibe! Here are the five weirdest restaurants in Las Vegas!

1. The Heart Attack Grill!

Coming in at the top of the list is this rather obnoxious joint known as the Heart Attack Grill. Although originally founded in Tempe, Arizona, the owner, Joe Busso, decided to take the joint, complete with its theatrics, to the city of Las Vegas. Since then, it’s become a huge attraction. Oddly enough, the entire idea behind this restaurant is centered around over-indulgence. Guests can (but may not want to!) choose from a single, up to an octuple hamburger, which comes up to a whopping 9,900 calories. Apart from the burgers themselves, the Heart Attack Grill also offers sides that are not for the faint of heart - Flatliner fries, which are deep-fried in pure lard, alcoholic beverages, butterfat milkshakes and sodas made with cane sugar are all common choices. It gets weirder though - When customers enter and seat themselves at their tables, they’re given hospital bibs. Drinks stick to the medical theme and are served in syringes. They also offer free meals to people who weigh over 350lbs. Perhaps it isn’t that surprising that at least two instances of heart attacks have actually been recorded at the Heart Attack Grill!
